People often get confused whenever they see that quote. But I believe that Albert Einstein refers to the educational institutions when he says "education" is what interferes with actual learning. It has just become so structured that students tend to feel robotic. They have to memorize one thing after another that they fail to have opportunities to test out their analytical and creative skills. Those are the things that we should hone, not just our memorization skills alone. Learning through actual work and experiences is what allows us to do this.
