Describing and Analyzing Data with Microsoft Excel

  1. Click here to download the worksheet. (Right-click-Save Target As)
  2. Save this file to your own drive and rename it to
    “YourName-YourPartnersName.xls”
    (This step is important otherwise you won’t be able to make changes to the file.)
  3. Open the file from your own drive.
  4. Along the bottom of the file, you will see several tabs: Question 1, Question 2 etc.
  5. Select the Question 1 tab, follow the instructions and answer the questions on the page.
  6. If you need help in creating certain graphs/using formulas, there are some links at the bottom of this page.
  7. Continue until you have done all the questions
  8. Save your file
  9. Hand in your assignment by copying and pasting the file to the following folder from your desktop:
    Weston C.I.\drop-off\Martins
